A little About The Guitar Reviews

Hello Everyone, John here;

I just wanted to say hello to everyone again, and thank you for visiting The Guitar Reviews, and thought I’d answer some of the questions that have been coming in regard our review process and who we are.

My name, is John Kauri, I am the lead reviewer and writer for this site, myself, and a couple other professional guitar players started this site as a way to give back to the music community. Specifically, the guitar playing community. This site will always be a free recourse for those looking for the best and best suited instruction and tutorials for playing a guitar, or eventually, any musical instrument around.

Who are we? Well, as I said, we are professional guitar players, from all walks of life and all different styles, some of us are session players in Canada, some of us travel with tours around North America and Europe, and a couple of us, even have our own recording projects in the works. Here, at The Guitar Reviews, our aim is to stand out from the other review sites in the manner of everything we say and do is 100% authentic. We don’t buy reviews from copywriters, we don’t ask for free versions of the tutorial systems, or get the promo prices in exchange for a favorable review. That wouldn’t be honest to you, and it is the kind of thing that got the small group of us together to create this site.

As a group, our collection of reviewers and writers have a common goal. To help you, the reader, and potential student, find the best possible fit for your musical education. We know that if you don’t get along with your instructor, or something just doesn’t feel right, then it’s not going to be educational. Eventually, you will become frustrated, and stop. That’s why we started this site.

You may be thinking, ‘why not start your own online lesson site?’ and that’s a great question, we seriously thought about it, but in the end, we realized that we could cover a lot more ground, give more feedback and honest opinions by reviewing the courses that are out there, rather than being lumped in with them.

We give credit where credit is due, giving top praise to the courses and programs that deserve it, yet, also not pulling punch’s on the ones that fall short or look like they just want your money.

In a sense, we are here, fighting for your education and future in music. So, rest assured, more reviews of more training sites are coming, more products will be tested, and our 100% honest opinion will be given.

Thanks for your time; and keep playing.

John
